Great Wicklow Day Tour 30 December 2009 .. Belgium Good morning Dublin, We sure had a splendid time with you guys. The tour was amazing. We knew Ireland is a beautiful country and you've shown a part of it to us. Damian as a guide is simply fantastic. The explanation, the history, the tips, timing, everything. We surely have chosen the right company for that tour and will recommended to anyone coming to Dublin. You'll find with tis mail already one of the pictures promised. The other one will be sent by my friend. Happy new year to you all ! Isabella

Wicklow & Glendalough day tour Thanks from ISRAEL
Jan 11, 2010 . Due to our age we have been hosted by many tour guides over the years. You are definetly one of the best. Of course, you know the road and the top attractions. However, you also manage to add a personal touch (e.g the 3 children) and to draw a social map of Ireland today. This kind of information was delivered in an un-assuming and touching way. It added a lot to our enjoyment that day. Sincerely, Arie and Dvora Melnik Haifa, Israel

OFFICIAL DUBLIN TOURISM FEED BACK on Wicklow Mountains and Glendalough tour
Submitted by: DCU Chinese society Friendly staff and unforgetable tour Rating: 5 ------------------------------------------------- Submitted by: Cameron The tour was wonderful! The scenery was amazing, and our Irish lunch at the local pub was more than we could have asked for. Our tour guide was very educated on the area, and he made the tour very meaningful. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested. Rating: 5 ------------------------------------------------- Submitted by: Michelle M. O'Callaghan The tour was fabulous and the guide was both informative and gracious, without being stuffy; to the contrary, he was friendly and quite personable. The tour is arranged so that you are not rushed through any of the sites. It is very relaxing, but still moves along at a good enough clip. The bus was comfortable. The sites were great, especially St. Kevin's Monastic city. A person is guided, while still being given options and flexibility. I would recommend this tour as one that people who usually enjoy tours would enjoy, and those that usually avoid tours would also enjoy this one. They have the right combination. Don't miss this one, if you are in Dublin! Two other important details; the tour is extremely affordable. For an entire day of entertainment and commentary, on a comfortable Mercedes bus; you pay 28 Euros (about what you are going to pay for a good seafood or steak dinner with a drink) and the sites are very easy to get around (for example, if you do not like the idea of crawling around monastic ruins, you can take a stroll down a path to view a magestic lake). I am in decent shape, but for those of you that don't want to do a lot of walking, or simply can't; this tour can accommote you. There are no castle "tripping steps", skinny caves to crawl through, difficult terrain, long periods of time without a bathroom stop or chance to stretch your legs, or long peiods of walking required. Rating: 5 ------------------------------------------------- Submitted by: Therese Andersson The tour was so well organized and the driver was very friendly and fun and was able to tell us alot about Ireland, past and present. The small coaches also makes this tour more personal and cosier. I highly recommend this tour. Rating: 5 ------------------------------------------------- Submitted by: Irene Legemaat excellent guide and driver! We had a fantastic trip in the Wicklow Mountains. Thanks Day Tours. Glendalough & Wicklow Mountains Day tour Thanks Martin Great day tour to Wicklow
Dear Day tours, Just returned home from our trip to Dublin. My sister and I enjoyed our 4 days in Dublin very much. The highlight was our day with Day Tours Unplugged! Yesterday we had a wonderful day with the group. Martin is an excellent driver and a fantastic tourleader! He showed us so many beautiful things ans told us so much interesting stories! He even learned us a few words Gaelic! The Mill, Glendalough, the waterfall and Lough Tae (I saw it 20 years ago in the mist when I did the Wicklow Way, now the sky was so clear I could see the Wicklow Mountains in full glory), everything was great! Even the drive back to Dublin was wonderful, good views mixed with good music! Please, give Martin our special greetings and thanks again. Best regards, Irene Legemaat, Apeldoorn Holland

February 2010 Day Tour from Dublin to Wicklow Mountains and Glendalough Best tour ever
I made a trip to Ireland with my husband and have been meaning to write since our return. Ireland is the land of most of my ancestors and it was a trip that I long wanted to make. We took the day tour from Dublin to Glendalough and the Wickow Mountains,It was a wonderful day and I'd especially like to compliment our guide, who gave us a very interesting commentary throughout the trip. He told us all the regular commentary one would expect but also told us a lot of extra information which made the tour one that stands out in my mind as a particularly interesting one. The pub where we stopped for lunch was very good, too. My husband said it was the best meal he had in our two weeks in Ireland. We continued on after Dublin to Belfast and the north and then over to Limerick (never did make it to Cork or the Ring of Kerry - next trip, I hope.) Ireland is so beautiful - it was a lovely trip. We rate it a 5/5. The tour guide, was fantastic. We learned so much about Ireland, its history, its people, what gives it its character. The scenery was absolutely beautiful also but Damien was what made the day memorable. And it was sunny! Gail Tattrie

Wicklow Mountains Glendalough bus tour Tuesday...witty,informative,thought provking...great fun,
Thank you so much for the really excellent tour to Glendalough and the Wicklow Mountains. We particularly enjoyed your witty, informative and at times thought provoking commentary. Music was great, places visited were wonderful and even the weather co-operated (I have some lovely photos of Lough Tay and the rainbow near Sally Gap!). We enjoyed the visit to Glendalough and the walk to the Upper Lake. Also the meal at Lynam's Hotel was excellent - particularly the Guinness! Again, thank you for a superb day out and the friendly, relaxed atmosphere you created. This day was the highlight of our short visit to Ireland, and we would recommend Day Tours Unplugged to anyone coming your way! Regards, Stephen and Mary Jacks

Best Day on our IRELAND VACATION Wicklow Glendalough bus day tour February Winter snow
My wife Elena and I would like to thank our guide and Day Tours Unplugged for our greatest day in Ireland. We were blessed with a lovely fog the day of our tour, but Damian reversed the tour in the hopes the skies would clear by afternoon. And sure enough, they did. The Wicklow tour was beautiful and our guide was witty and extremely informative. Plus, he allowed us several fantastic stops for photos. Everything was beyond our expectations, and we can't recommend Day Tours Unplugged any higher. We only wished we could have saved this tour for last, for it truly was the best.

Sectacular tour Waterfalls Mountains & Glendalough
Hi, Our tour guide / driver was captivating and the tour was a day well spent. My grandsons, 17-15, were just as interested as I was. The group was small enough approx 30 persons to interact with the guide. We took the Wicklow/Gendalough tour and would love to come back for the Trim Castle tour.
