Today we met the Ocean Princess at Dublin port for a shore excursion into the Boyne Valley and Newgrange.
Ocean Princess has a crew of 373, and can accomodate 680 passengers. She stands 11 decks high. She was registered in Bermuda, at 592 feet long and has a gross tonnage 30,277. The vessel entered operation in 1999 under the flag of Renaissance Cruises. In 2002, Princess Cruises secured a two year lease. The vessel entered operation at the end of 2002, and was renamed Tahitian Princess. At the end of the lease, Princess Cruises purchased both vessels. In November 2009 the Tahitian Princess was renamed Ocean Princess. She is expected to depart the Princess fleet in March 2016. We can provide you with an exceptional private shore excursion along Ireland's ancient east coast. Today we were delighted to travel with a small family group to experience the Unesco World heritage site at Newgrange and the Boyne Valley. For further information contact us
